actually the pass bet is played more than the don'tI hadn't looked at it in that way @zephyr 12 . All I knew is that if 7 or 11 shows up, the bet wins and if the come-out roll is either 2, 3 or 12, then the bet loses. The argument has always been that the 'Don't Pass Bet' is much more preferred.

The flat bet pays even money , then you can lay odds , meaning you would be paying the same odds to the house you would be receivingBut don't you have to put more money on the table than you can hope to win back?
