Slots RSI from slots?

A few years ago I heard about a casino that actually had staff who could take over slot machine play, pulling levers or hitting buttons at a player's direction so that the player could play longer with hurting their arms or getting RSI. I thought this was a myth, and then read that slot machines are being redesigned to allow players to play seated with their arms supported to reduce the risk of this. Have you ever heard of anyone getting RSI from too much play? Is it a real problem?

I've never heard of this either, but it very well could be true. I've seen some people go for hours at a time and it's possible that the body could experience fatigue from that.

I was really surprised to learn that this is real. They've been making ergonomically designed slot machines since 2003 according to the Casino City Times. But wouldn't things like having someone playing for you, or an autoplay button where players put money in and watch the machine pay itself, just take the fun out of it?
