Baccarat Just a starting thread!

Well, there was nothing in Baccarat since Oct of 2016 so I may as well start something up.

Most of us can move from forum to forum but rarely see a good baccarat site. Baccarat is usually stuffed into an area of "other games" while Roulette, Black Jack/21 and Poker take all the discussion with Roulette filling up the empty space everywhere.

Who knows? Maybe this will be the site for Baccarat in the future!

Hey I'm interested, it looks like so far this forum has some good people. I never really thought about Baccarat much but I am told it similar to blackjack except even simpler. What would be an advantage over playing blackjack? Or do you play it to

Baccarat is one of those games I never quite had an interest in. Kind of like Pai Gow. I find card games a bit like soccer. Boring and slow.

Hi, why do you prefer Baccarat? Is it to do with the edge, the rules or something else?

I used to be a "21" player but the rules changed too much in the intervening years and I moved in baccarat.

As the rules haven't changed for the main game in about a thousand years, you won't have to continue to change your play to correct for the casino side changes as they line up all the new players attempting to win the magical big payoff wagers.

Yes, there are all kinds of new ways to wager on the game, but the core game is still there for those who choose to remain with it.
