Iron Cross refers to a system of place betting 5, 6 & 8 and simultaneously betting Field. This is "companion betting." While a 7 is not thrown, the routine pumps out money with every throw of the dice. I have personally bet the routine and, I think, profited from it. The fly in the ointment is that the average craps decision is made about every 3.5 throws. Four bets are at risk. While "Iron Cross" is entertaining to bet, I haven't found a combination that is profitable. I am not sure that a combination is possible. This is an unanswered question. The "Iron Cross" faces the Iron Equation that only one bet may be won (with a dice roll) but four bets may be lost. A change of perspective can radically affect the opinion of success of a betting routine. I welcome any feedback. amazon.com/author/larryhaight
