General The urge to gamble

There was this time I was really chasing losses and I just couldn't stop losing. Eventually, I quit (for sometime) and like everyone tells you, it is always important to find an alternative. It is never easy to find another 'quick' way of winning money, unless you land a side job of sorts. Even then, the urge to gamble will always be there and sometimes it is so strong that you find yourself going back.

The urge to gamble is something every gambler learns to grapple with. Whether you win or lose, there's always something pushing you to keep going. Chances normally are that you'll go on to lose all the winnings.

The urge to gamble is something everyone learns to control and at times it get so bad that some players keep gambling even when they know they need to stop. The mark of maturity (for every gambler) is knowing when to stop and when to resume based on results/performance.

Good for you that you can adjust at will, I admire the discipline you have. :)

Adjusting at will isn't easy and you need to muster a lot of courage to do this. Most people resort to this kind of thing after a string of losses. Again, the more you mature in gambling, the more you learn to handle yourself better.
