General Should casino owners also play?

I once read a story of a casino owner who lost about $1 million just because he was obsessed with gambling. Is it better if the casino owners are not gamblers so that there is no conflict of interest?

If I was a casino owner, I would never play in my own. Does the law bar anyone from playing in their own casino?

I think if I owned a casino, I would only play in my own casino.
That way it wouldn't matter if I won or if I lost!

I doubt if casino owners get time to sit and play. I think they are millionaires who concentrate on other ventures and employ people to run their businesses.

As for whether I will ever play in my own, I prefer to cross this bridge when I get there.
