I was just wondering about this game as it's compared to Blackjack and Poker. I've never played it before but I would like to know if mindset has anything to do with this game as well or if playing successfully is just a matter of chance?
I think that it's important to have the right frame of mind when one plays roulette as it is with every other game if you hope to win and be profitable. Most people gamble more than they can afford and that is caused by the wrong frame of mind.
I have been told countless times that your mindset is of ultimate importance when it comes to playing and winning these kind of games, but I'm surprised that not many 'teachers' or mentors focus on that primarily, from what I've read.
It's not as if with the right mindset the wheel can be beaten, but if you cannot control your emotions during play then there is more of a chance that you will make mistakes that will affect your outcome in other ways.
Your mindset has to be on the same level as your seriousness. That is, if you play to win, you have to be focused at all times. If you're just playing to have fun, then that's where your mind is going to be.
