Just joined after reading Steve's post on the other forum. I play craps, blackjack and roulette in that order of preference. The casino I play at has soft rules for craps from what I have gathered from other players. Only one dice has to hit the alligator wall. The other dice could stop anywhere else on the table. However as a dicesetter it really doesn't do much for me anyways other than my buddy is really good at the blanket throw. Always willing to share whatever knowledge I have accumulated over the years.

Hey Archie, how is dice setting going for you? Where I play whether they are strict or not about the wall depends on who's around monitoring the game.

Hi dicesetter,

Practice and practice and practice. Nothing beats real play though. At this point in my play, I would say that I'm breaking even. Better than most I would say. I agree that courses and hands on teaching haven't done much for me. I would say that one can pretty much learn on his own by practicing. I have built my own rig and that is one tool that is princesse.
