Blackjack Advantages of sitting at the third base seat?

Hi guys. At the blackjack table, what is the third base seat and can anyone tell me what the advantages or disadvantages of sitting there are?

There is no advantage unless you are counting card and then there are slight improvements in your playing decisions because you have seen more cards.
