There's this lad who's always winning at our local casino. You'll not hear him speak a lot but what's amazing is that he consistently wins. On the international stage, John Juanda is my idol. He's among the richest players in the world, with a net worth of around $4.4 million. What's interesting is that before turning professional, he used to sell bibles.

FYI, If anyone says Bilzerian then they should be removed from the forum. John Juanda is a great choice too! Liv Boeree is my favourite - to be one of the best players in a male-dominated sport is something I really admire, as I'd hate to think what the business is like behind the scenes.

Bilzerian was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons so I don't think anyone should be looking at him as an idol of any sort. In my humble opinion, an idol should should be someone that anyone can look up to, both within and without the Poker arena.

That is very interesting. I really don't watch the international stage too much. I can hardly believe that this guy is so rich and used to sell Bibles. What a turn around and quite a bit of a different genre for a career as well. Bible to a gambler is really quite a jump!
