... I wonder how you would get on if you just bet on the same trap every race?!
I'm tempted next time I go to just place to win bets on trap number 2 every time and see how I end up at the end of the night.

If trap number 2 always has a dog nearing retirement you are not going to win anything.

If you want an easy way to gauge a bet, go with the younger dogs. They obviously have more energy.

I do still quite like the idea of not having to think too much! When I tend to go to the dog track with my friends, we spend so much time chatting that we forget to even look at the races and then have to make a snap decision on what to bet on as we’re running out of time!!

I guess you're never in need of winning anything (on a light note). Whenever I'm at the horse races, I will place wagers first then go on to chat with my friends. It is much easier and better when you're not rushing through the decisions.

Frankly, I don't really like dog racing. The poor greyhounds look so pitiful to me. If I had a large yard, I would adopt some retirees and give them a good life until death. Seems like to me that they deserve it.
