I've been reading some threads here where players are complaining about being cheated by some online casinos and I was wondering what steps someone can take in order to safeguard themselves against that happening to them?

I think its much the same as any online safety. Check reviews for the site you ant to play at, search online to see what people say about them, and possibly if you want to be very safe and limit your spend link a pre-paid card to it rather than using your credit or debit card. It means that the most you can lose is the money on the card and any winnings and protects your bank and details.

I agree with Tolly, read reviews before joining or gambling on any site. There should be articles out there on what sites are legit and what sites aren't.
