I haven't been playing roulette for very long, but from what I understand, the best thing you can do to improve your odds of coming out on top is to study the betting system and combination bets.
Don't play the American version if you can avoid it because the odds are worse. Study combination bets and never bet on single numbers. Watch the game for a while before you play and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
The one piece of advice that I have been getting a lot of is when playing online roulette, always play a roulette that is free and always bet on the outside tables' one.
I don't know enough yet to be able to give others advice, but reading through this thread I got a lot of great tips for myself. I'm wondering about the advice from Muay, though. It sort of doesn't make sense to me. Care to elaborate a little more?
I agree with you, Hartz. I also received a lot of value from this thread regarding some of the best advice for noobs like me. Getting started in this game can be really confusing for some.
